The highly-anticipated second season of "Tulsa King" returns this weekend.
The series stars Sylvester Stallone as New York mafia capo Dwight "The General" Manfredi after he is released from prison after 25 years and is "unceremoniously exiled" by his boss to Tulsa, Oklahoma, according to Paramount+.
"Dwight slowly builds a 'crew' from a group of unlikely characters to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet," the show's description reads.
According to Paramount+, the second season sees Dwight and his crew "continue to build up and defend their growing empire" but, just as they begin to get their bearings, they realize "they're not the only ones who want to stake their claim."
The show is executive produced by Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan, whose other shows on the streaming platform also include "Mayor of Kingstown," "1883," and "Lawmen: Bass Reeves," among others.
